Sambal Asam Mix Vegetables
Sambal Asam Mix Vegetables
My dear colleague. Stephanie Chua told me to blog this recipe
for easy reference. Here goes, dear friend.
3 Ladies Fingers
1 Yellow Onion
1 Brinjal (used half only)
1 Tomato
100 g of Sambal Udang Paste** (note at the bottom page)
1 tablespoon of Asam Jawa (Tamarind)
Cut Tomato, Ladies Finger and Brinjal into desired sizes.
Slice the Yellow Onion
Mix well 1 tablespoon of the Asam Jawa with 1/2 cup of water.
Just take the Asam Jawa mixture only. Discard the seeds.
1) Heat up 1/2 cup of cooking oil.
2) Add in the Sambal Udang paste and stir well until bubble surface.
3) Add all the vegetables.
4) Stir until well coated and once the vegetables are soften,
add some water if it is dried.
5) Add the Asam Jawa mixture and stir well.
6) Once cooked, turn off the fire and dish out.
My husband and I can't finished this whole dish and
told me to save for tomorrow dinner.
Whenever he said don't throw away and to keep for next meal,
meaning that it is delicious.
Eating with piping hot rice is just yummy.
