Korean Street Toast

Korean Street Toast
Thanks to Seonkyoung sharing this recipe. It's a hit for my family.
Made this for our late breakfast.




Ingredients for 4 people :-

  1. 60g Cabbage, sliced thinly
  2. 60g Carrot, julienne thinly
  3. 8 slices of Cheese
  4. 16 slices of Bread (butter both sides)
  5. 8 slices of Turkey Ham
  6. 4 Eggs
  7. 1 tsp Salt
  8. 1/2 tsp Pepper
  9. Butter
  10. Roasted Sesame Dressing and Japanese Mayo (optional and depends on your preference)





  1. Mix Cabbage, Carrot, Eggs, Salt and Pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Heat up pan with 2 tbsp of butter until melted.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pan. Once the side slightly cooked, use your spatula to break the egg mixture into four parts.
  4. Then flip to the other side to cook until brown and set aside.




  1.  With the same pan, cook the turkey ham slightly brown and set aside.
  2. Then toast the buttered bread both sides until brown and set aside.
  3. *With the toasted buttered bread, lay 1st layer with egg omelet.

(*Note : You can sprinkle with some sugar before laying your egg omelet.  For ours, I did not sprinkle with some caster sugar onto the toasted buttered bread because we are cutting down our sugar intake. Choice is yours.)



  1.  Lay 2nd layer with the turkey ham, 3rd layer with slice of cheese and drizzle with your favourite sauces (mine will be roasted sesame dressing and Japanese Mayo).
  2. Cover with another toasted buttered bread.
  3. Serve immediately.



We can eat this for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  
It is indeed super yummy.
