In another few more days, Year 2018 will be ending and here come Year 2019.

Today I made Fried Seaweed Popiah Skin or others may named it Fried Seaweed Spring Roll
or Crispy Seaweed Spring Roll or Crispy Seaweed Popiah Skin and etc.
Less than 1 1/2 months, we will be celebrating Chinese New Year and
this snack will be great to be enjoyed with family, relatives and friends.
Ingredients :-
- 3 Eggs white (with a fork break the membrane) and 1/2 tsp of salt and stir until dissolved.
- 1 pack of Spring Roll Pastry (40 pcs) (thaw at room temperature)
- 4 packs of Roasted Seaweed (10 pcs per pack)
- Oil for frying
Method :-
- Place 1 pc of spring roll pastry on a smooth surface.
- Brush thin layer of the egg white on top of the spring roll pastry.
- Then place 1 pc of the seaweed on top of the spring roll pastry.
- You may use pizza cutter or scissor to cut to your desired sizes.
Method :-
- Heat up cooking oil in a wok.
- Add 1st batch of the cut seaweed popiah skin and fry until slightly brown. Not too brown, it will end up very brown. (Total 4 batches. Each batch is 10 pcs of spring roll with seaweed)
- Use kitchen paper towel to blot those extra oil and let it cool before placing in an air tight container.
This snack is very addictive, my husband eaten 1/2 tub of it before I finish blogging this snack.
