Cendol with Gula Melaka Agar-Agar
These past weeks, the weather is soooooo crazy, hence made this yummy dessert.
- 4 1/2 tsp Agar-Agar Powder
- 150 g Caster Sugar
- 450 ml Water
- 250 ml Coconut Milk (the package is 200 ml and I added another 50 ml of water = 250 ml)
- 100 g Cendol
Method :-
- Combine the Agar-Agar Powder with Caster Sugar into a pot.
- Add Water and boil with medium fire until sugar is dissolve.
- Add Coconut Milk and bring to boil.
- Once boiled, quickly switch off the fire and add Cendol and stir until combined and set aside to allow it to be slightly harden.
Ingredients for Top Layer :-
- 2 tsp Agar-Agar Powder
- 3 tbsp Water
- 60g Gula Melaka
- 235 ml Water
Method :-
- Dissolve the Agar-Agar Powder with Water and set aside.
- Bring Gula Melaka and Water in a pot and to boil or until Gula Melaka dissolve with medium fire.
- Switch off the fire.
- Use strainer to strain the Gula Melaka mixture and set aside.
- Once the bottom layer has been slightly harden, pour the Gula Melaka mixture onto the Coconut Cendol layer. Let it cool and set in the refrigerator.
So pretty to be eaten.
